Pre-1971: Big "E" Tab

Capital 'E' on the red tab (LEVI'S). Highly rare and valuable ($150–$800+). Check for single stitch back pockets and selvedge inseam.

1970s–1980s: Single Stitch

Care tag inside waist (black/red lettering). Check top button stamp (numbers 524, 555, 501) and red bar tacking on back pockets.

1990s: Red Batwing Tag
